Torchlight: The Netherlands: More Evidence Of Cultural Eradication By The Leftist Councils

THE HAGUE, 19/11/09 - The Christian democrats (CDA) are put out that the Christian cross on the mitre of Sinterklaas is disappearing in more and more municipalities with the apparent intention of keeping radical Muslims calm.

Sinterklaas is the Dutch variant of Santa Claus. Tradition has it that the holy bishop arrives from Spain on his steamboat on around 20 November every year to give all good children presents on 5 December, after which he disappears again.

Sinterklaas has had no cross on his mitre in Amsterdam any more for some years, but rather the logo of the city. The capital acknowledges that this is because the population's composition has become "multi-ethnic".

According to CDA, more and more municipal executives are opting to drop the cross for a neutral headdress. This damages a tradition, says the government party.

CDA has sent written questions to Labour (PvdA) Ministers Guusje ter Horst (Home Affairs) and Ronald Plasterk (Culture). They are urged "to fight for the preservation of a typically Dutch festival, including all symbols and references that belong to it."]

CDA MP Koppejan: "We consider it fine that in Dutch society, ethnic groups have come along with their own festivals, customs and religions. But this must not mean that the Christian origin of our own festivals is renounced."

And so continues the left and its assault on every stitch of fabric that makes up our grand European culture. Let’s point out the absurd double standard at play here before anything else. If any of us were to demand that our local councils force the removal of any islamic symbol from any of their various images or signs as it would offend us, we all know the shriek that would rip through our eardrums by both the left and muslims; racist!!! The left no longer tries to deny or defend that double standard anymore. They have actually managed to institutionalize reverse or what they call "positive" discrimination. So there we are. Its okay to bend over and make concessions for these animals, destroy our own culture in the process, and now, we are to smile and say please and thank you for their troubles. I for one will make no such concession.

My friends, the enemy are the left, its voter cultivation, and the floods of barbaric immigrants they are using to eradicate us from our own lands in as few generations as possible. This is quite politically incorrect to say I admit, but until we start to say these things, accept the dangers around us, and take action to retake our countries, we are lost. As far as the councils are concerned, I believe that we are in a much bigger and more advantaged position to intimidate them than the minorities of ill-tempered and immature muslims who kick and scream every time they don’t get their way. It's we who have the superior numbers; we must start using this advantage. It is quite obvious my friends that the left has no regard for our future or safety; why shouldn't we return the same disregard for theirs? It is, without a doubt, a matter of life or death. Civility has its place and time and neither are here and now. Wake up and put the children to bed. The time for war is now.
